NC is not the only one who did a non-review: LINK 1 and LINK 2

So, since Anthony Hopkins is in this movie, I am 99% sure that he'll get a Worst Supporting Actor nom for this. If/When he does, he'll break a Razzie record.

Now if he actually wins the award, he'll then break TWO Razzie records.

Anyone want to figure out what those TWO records would be?

1) But the N.C. video was an actual analysis, not a prank video.
2) Something related to his number of Razzie nominations/wins? Something related to his number of Oscar nominations/wins?

Close enough.

The first one would be the longest gap between nominations. Hopkins was one of the first actors nominated for the Worst Actor category, and he has not been nominated since. Because these Transformers movies are such easy targets, his nomination is more than likely going to happen, which would then mean that the record to break is 1980 - 2017, 37 years, in how long of a gap there is between nominations.

The second record, if he wins, would be the oldest person to receive a Razzie. He is 79 now, going to be 80 by the end of the year, and last I checked, the oldest person who won a Razzie was Charlton Heston, who was 77/78 at the time of his win. I could be wrong on that, but if I'm right, then Hopkins might be able to beat that record too.

Oh, you know what other record can definitely be broken by this film?

Michael Bay will end up being the director who has the most Worst Director nominations.

The previous record holder was Brian De Palma, then Renny Harlin and Bay came and made it a three-way tie with De Palma. Now with this film, Bay will end up being the new standard for what can be considered Razzie-worthy filmmaking.

There's also the fact that Michael Bay would become the first person to win Worst Director three times if he wins for this film.

Most Bayformers would be competitive behemoths for a hypothetical "Most Despicable Product Placement" category for their respective years, but if that category had been there at the RAZZIES all along once "Yo Quiero Tacky Tie-Ins" was nominated for Worst Moviegoing Trend of 1998, this would be the first Bayformers film to face a tough challenge in the finals. I found a video briefly describing how The Emoji Movie was brought about by troubles in the marketing and advertising industry when they ran into tough crowds and ad-blocking software on the internet. With the security of the advertising firm industry scrambled, they joined with Hollywood and the smart phone industry to step up their product placement when Michael Bay scaled his product placement back (this is where the phrase "a broken clock is right twice a day" comes into play). This makes me wonder how Bay would feel about a Bayformers film getting beaten by a film like The Emoji Movie for Most Despicable Product Placement. Would it matter much if The Last Knight was still a runner-up?

I think he'd be happy that he would not win such an award.

If Hopkins wins Worst Supporting Actor this year, this is the clip to play (Note: That's just the tip of the iceberg).

Re: TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT

I just saw it. For your consideration:
-Worst Supporting Actor for Anthony Hopkins and for John Turturro and for Frank Welker (also for SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE).
-Worst Director.
-Worst Screenplay.
-Worst Prequel or Sequel.
-Worst Picture.
But not:
-Worst Actor for Mark Wahlberg.
-Worst Supporting Actor for Peter Cullen nor for John Goodman nor for Steve Buscemi nor for Jim Carter.
-Worst Supporting Actress for Laura Haddock nor for Isabela Moner.

I remember you being a little more forgiving of the Transformers movies in the past. I gotta ask though, since the old forum is gone, is this the first time you suggested John Turturro for a Razzie?
